The security of your information is important to us and our third party providers. The Site is PCI compliant and SSL enabled for encryption. With SSL enabled automatically, site visitors and users can access a constant, secure connection on every page visited on the Site. Email addresses received from newsletter sign-ups are automatically forwarded to our email server through a secured connection. Email addresses are manually uploaded to our newsletter platform, Constant Contact. In the event that Constant Contact services are interrupted, we may use alternative platforms with standard security features to ensure the protection of your information. Alternative platforms may include Mail Chimp and Microsoft Outlook.
Event Registration
Information submitted to register for an event, including any personally identifiable information that you submit to us is handled by Constant Contact.
Constant Contact employs reasonable technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. Constant Contact uses industry-recognized technical safeguards, such as firewalls, and have adopted and implemented security procedures to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration.
Northwest Mountain MSDC administration protects the confidentiality of your information. All personal, company and contact information is stored in password protected files. Sensitive information, such as financial, accounting or membership data is handled only by authorized personnel and stored on a secured server.
Payments
All payments made for event registration, sponsorship, and other transactions intended with the Council are redirected to Paypal. PayPal invests heavily in trying to keep their sites and services as safe and secure as possible. PayPal utilizes tokenization technology, which helps protect customers’ data during transactions. Tokenization substitutes a person’s sensitive financial information with a series of non-sensitive numbers that confirm to the merchant a payment is authentic, helping to minimize the impact of data breaches.
Personal and Non-personal Information
We will never use personally identifiable information to identify users or visitors to third parties and will never facilitate the merging of personally identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information collected through any advertising product or feature. You have the option to unsubscribe from our contact lists or modify your permissions at any time. We do not share personal information to third parties, with the exception of complying with government and legal/court-ordered actions, and we do not sell our contact lists.
